Here’s a Sneak Peek at Where We’ll Be at the 2020 International Builders’ Show in Vegas
Nov 14, 2019

From new products to cutting-edge show homes to an educational seminar, it seems only fitting that Western Window Systems is going big for the largest annual light construction show in the world. Next year, the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) will take place January 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Stop by and say hello at one of these venues — we’d love to see you!

Show Village
Located in front of the convention center, this area, sponsored by Professional Builder magazine, encourages attendees to take self-guided tours and experience products in real-life settings via unique show homes of various building styles.

  • Net Zero Home: Designed to produce more renewable energy than it consumes, this custom modular dwelling by Mods PDX includes moving glass walls and windows from our energy-efficient Series 7000 Performance line.

  • Tiny Home: To make his tiny home feel, well, less tiny, architect Andrés Duany used hinged windows and a door from our Classic line to expand space and let in lots of natural light.

  • Boxabl: Las Vegas-based Boxabl creates finished and dried-in shells for buildings that they say allow builders to complete 70 percent of their build in one week. This production prototype boasts our hinged and bi-fold door as well as single-hung and hinged windows.

  • Mid-Century: To create an indoor-outdoor connection in his mid-century home, architect Andrés Duany used a sliding glass door, hinged door, and awning windows from our Classic line of aluminum products.

The New American Home
Designed by Sun West Custom Homes and sponsored by Professional Builder magazine and Las Vegas-based Custom Home Window and Door, this 7,683-square-foot house in Henderson, Nevada (about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Convention Center) captures a “contemporary desert” aesthetic through the use of natural stone and massive glass openings, including a Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door that opens an entire side of the house to outdoors. Tickets are required and can be obtained at no cost at The New American Home booth near IBS registration at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
