In an effort to maximize the ordering, shipping, and receiving process, Western Window Systems has rolled out new delivery paperwork designed to ease the process for Western Window Systems dealer partners, delivery drivers, and, yes, the company’s own shipping department.

“The new delivery paperwork process is revolutionary for our customers,” says Andrew Darr, Western Window Systems’ vice president of custom sales. “Our previous process was not nearly this robust and customizable.”

Introduced in late May, the new paperwork includes an order summary that outlines the overall status of an order (including estimated final shipping date) in addition to a line item for each assembly part of the product and its load date.

The internet-based system allows dealers on the Western Window Systems website to set up a chain of confirmation emails that tell them when various shipments have been sent to them.

“The biggest benefit of the new process is that the website is a centralized location where Western Window Systems can communicate with our dealer partners regarding every specific aspect of their order,” Darr says. “We believe that our dealer partners will benefit from this new process in their accounting, warehouse, and delivery teams.”
