Western Window Systems is pleased to announce that the company’s new Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door has been given a Green Award by the editors of Door and Window Market magazine.

One of five products to win the award, appearing in the magazine’s November 2017 issue, the Series 7600 was recognized for helping “companies and consumers meet ever-increasing energy-efficiency goals.” DWM lauded Western Window Systems for “going the extra mile for sustainability.” The product was launched in early 2017.

“We’re thrilled to be honored by DWM’s Green Awards this year,” says Cameron Wyatt, Western Window Systems’ vice president of design and supply chain. “We always strive for energy efficiency with our products, and we’re extremely proud of the eco-friendly benefits that our new Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door has to offer.”

Among those benefits are a .30 U-value for standard low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass and a .19 U-value for high-performance triple-pane glass. The door features a design pressure rating of 50 and is compliant with California’s rigorous Title 24 requirements in both the prescriptive and performance methods.

DWM also recently announced that Western Window Systems won a Readers’ Choice Award in the category of “Sliding Systems.”
