Western Window Systems will be showcasing its sliding and folding glass doors in the Ultimate Kitchen at this year’s Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC), June 22 and 23 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Initially unveiled at the 2016 International Builders’ Show in January, the 696-square-foot high-end modular retreat, presented by Professional Builder magazine, was built by Irontown Homes and designed by NKBA Best Kitchen award winner Brigitte C. Fabi, CMKBD, of Drury Design. It includes a separate bedroom, bathroom, and lounge area.

On the PCBC website, Kam Valgardson, general manager at Irontown Homes, says the Ultimate Kitchen will showcase Western Window Systems’ Series 3600 Vinyl Multi-Slide and Series 9500 Bi-Fold Doors, which “fold up and stack away to maximize open space and outdoor-living enjoyment.”

PCBC attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Ultimate Kitchen – located outside the front entrance to the show – for an up-close look at such key design trends as neutral coloring with pops of intense color and new appliance options, a floor plan that emphasizes energy efficiency, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.

PCBC is the largest homebuilding conference and trade show representing the West Coast, drawing attendees from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and 25 other countries.
