A young motorcycle racer’s burgeoning career got a huge boost recently when Western Window Systems announced its support for him in the form of a $2,000 sponsorship.

Logan Leech, 16, has been tearing up Arizona’s off-road motorcycling circuit lately, and he says the company’s sponsorship deal is just the kind of lift he needed to continue to chase his dream.

“I’ve been getting strong results in the Arizona Motorcycle Racing Association,” says Logan. “I will continue to grow in Arizona and, soon, I hope to compete in events in neighboring states. Turning pro would be a dream come true. It’s my ultimate goal.”

The money Logan received from Western Window Systems will go toward parts for his off-road motorcycle, fuel costs, and covering entry fees for the various races in which he plans to compete.

The Tempe, Arizona, teen is currently gearing up for a series of races set to get underway in October. He’ll race a couple of times a month this fall with a break in December before pulling his bike up to the starting line when racing resumes after early next year.

“With Western Window Systems’ support, I’ll be able to make sure the bike and I are in tip-top shape when the first race rolls around,” says Logan, whose team, Spooneyracing, consists of himself and his dad, Scott, who acts as Logan’s mechanic. “On top of that it’s good to have the experience of going through the sponsorship process for the future. I would love to make Spooneyracing into something bigger, and when I begin to enter the professional scene, I expect national teams will want me to be a part of them.”

As Logan revs up toward the big time, Western Window Systems will be behind the young racer all the way.
