Western Window Systems recently was honored in two key categories at the Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Awards, which recognizes the state’s biggest and best privately held companies. The awards event was held November 3 at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Western Window Systems was listed among the top 50 in the categories of “Top Private” and “Fastest-Growing Companies.”
“It’s very exciting to receive this kind of recognition at the ACE Awards,” says Scott Gates, president and CEO of Western Window Systems. “When you look at this list, you see that we are in great company, with so many innovative and important businesses. It says a lot about the excellent work being done here in Arizona.”
In its 23rd year, the Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards are based on nominations made in the first quarter of the year. Nominees are researched and compiled by nationwide accounting firm of CliftonLarsonAllen.
The top private company, with $1.76 billion in revenue in 2016, is Scottsdale-based aviation services provider StandardAero. The fastest-growing company, ranked using a proprietary CliftonLarsonAllen growth score, is Scottsdale-based health and wellness products firm Plexus Worldwide.
The stated goal of the ACE Awards is to develop an increasing sense of knowledge sharing and community among the state’s private companies.
