Standing six feet apart and surrounded by balloons and banners, Western Window Systems employees were treated to a free boxed lunch in late July as part of the company’s initiative to show support and gratitude to those keeping the business running during challenging times.

“We have such an amazing and dedicated team that has pulled together and supported each other through this difficult and unprecedented time,” said Melissa Miner, vice president of human resources. “The appreciation lunch is a small way of valuing their efforts and saying thank you.”

In addition to the lunch, employees were given gift bags that included branded cloth face masks and hand sanitizer. The goodies are part of Western Window Systems’ ongoing COVID-19 response to protect its employees and the community. The company currently requires face masks, conducts daily non-contact temperature checks, and promotes social distancing and increased cleaning and sanitizing.
