With the launch of Western Window Systems’ new Series 7600 Aluminum Multi-Slide Door quickly approaching, the company has announced that the revolutionary new door system will be part of a forward-thinking concept home to debut in early 2018.

The concept home, the result of a collaboration between Meritage Homes and Builder magazine, is called the reNEWable Living Home, and it will be built in Meritage Estates at Parkside in Orlando, site of the NAHB 2018 International Builders’ Show in January. The home is designed to be sustainable and high-performance, incorporating energy-efficient technology and healthier home innovations, all at an affordable list price for mid-level homebuyers.

“We are very excited about partnering with Meritage Homes on the reNEWable home project,” says Western Window Systems vice president of production builder sales Chet Willis. “Meritage Homes is on the cutting edge of smart-home technology, and our new Series 7600 door system answers the call with the latest in thermal efficiency.”

The Series 7600, scheduled to debut this spring, is Western Window Systems’ strongest and most energy-efficient aluminum multi-slide door ever. Packed with unique innovations that address energy and structural requirements, it features proprietary technology and low-E glass options to reduce energy consumption, advanced strength and impact performance, and signature thin profiles and large expanses of glass popular in contemporary and modern architecture.

“These factors will perfectly complement the Meritage design,” Willis says, “and honor the builder’s commitment to bold engineering and setting new home standards in durability, health mindfulness, livability, and attainability.”
