Juanita Middleton

For many manufacturing companies, the organization of inventory can mean the difference between a profit and a loss. Juanita Middleton, storeroom employee at Western Window Systems, ensures the company’s manufacturing parts are readily available, a process that saves time, reduces stress, and helps coworkers plan ahead.

“Juanita took on the initiative to understand the inventory system by learning the hundreds of parts utilized in our manufacturing process,” says Rob Robichaud, director of human resources. “Then, she found the best way to organize our inventory so that her coworkers could easily identify and deliver parts to the floor.”

Through her exceptional organizational skills, Middleton helped to lower out-of-stock inventory and keep production running smoothly through more effective stock counts. And by keeping the storeroom clean and organized, Middleton contributes to the health and well being of her coworkers by preventing injuries.

“You can depend on Juanita,” says Robichaud. “She’s here every day ready to work, and she’s never short on smiles.”

Congratulations to Juanita Middleton, Western Window Systems’ lean problem solver for August.
