Todd Papetti, Daniel Martinez and Mike Schultz

When one of Western Window Systems’ (WWS) manufacturing teams needed help, it got it — times three.

Mike Schultz and Daniel Martinez, both on the Series 9500 Bi-Fold team, and Todd Pepetti, wood clad lead and assistant service technician, spent a few days in June lending a hand to the Series 900 Hinged Door department after it ran into a production snag. The effort not only meant extra hours, but quickly learning a new department and product.

“I knew they would step up to help the other team, no question about it,” says bi-fold area manager Don Teeter. “They have great work ethics and positive attitudes.”

WWS production manager Chris Allgood adds, “They take their jobs seriously, and align with our core values.”

Thanks to their actions, Schultz, Martinez, and Papetti helped the Series 900 department get back on schedule. In addition, they’re now able to work in two areas.

“They’re great assets to the Western team,” says Teeter. “You can depend on them when the going gets tough.”

Congratulations to Mike Schultz, Daniel Martinez, and Todd Papetti, Western Window Systems’ lean problem solvers for June.
