Sean Nichol

When it comes to IT, infrastructure manager Sean Nichol helps maintain the sanity of his fellow Western Window Systems team members in many ways. Need a second monitor for your work station? Call Sean. Printer jamming more than Bob Marley? Tell Sean. No audio on your video presentation? Sean’s on it.

But Sean’s contributions to WWS go beyond addressing any technical difficulties his teammates might be having. He also does heavy lifting like upgrading the company’s core network routers and maintaining the arcade games at the office. Western Window Systems president Scott Gates also jokingly points out that Sean is integral to making sure all WWS employees are “sock-compliant” by wearing Western Window Systems socks to work every day.

Whatever task Sean undertakes, he gives it 100 percent. John Engelstad, chief information officer for WWS parent company PGTI, says Sean “focuses on excellence on a daily basis.”

“He’s committed fully to response time and customer satisfaction with dealers,” Engelstad continues. “And he always focuses on IT infrastructure and meeting their needs. He goes above and beyond to help the company and its partners.”

Congratulations to Sean Nichol, Western Window Systems manager of the quarter!
