Chris Allgood

Western Window Systems production manager Chris Allgood may be best known as the guy who had himself tattooed with two company logos in 2014. But when it comes to getting things done, Allgood, who joined Western Window Systems in 2008, gets recognized for more than just his ink.

“Chris is as dedicated to maintaining our culture as he is to delivering products to our customers correctly and on-time,” says Dean Seger, vice president of manufacturing. “His can-do attitude is contagious and he’s always trying to do things better.”

One of the projects Allgood was instrumental in involved changing the company’s capacity scheduling. His leadership helped maximize output, increase cycle times, and improve on-time delivery.

“I had a concept of what I wanted to do and Chris was able to execute it,” says Scott Gates, president and chief operating officer of Western Window Systems. “I can lean heavily on him to manage product flow and deliver excellence.”

According to Seger, tattoos of company logos aren’t the only way Allgood shows his commitment to Western Window Systems.

“He likes the people and culture so much he’s willing to spend over an hour driving to work each way,” Seger says. “Now that’s loyalty.”

Congratulations to Chris Allgood, Western Window Systems’ manager of the quarter.
