David Vanden Oever

In his six years at Western Window Systems, regional sales manager David Vanden Oever has proved himself invaluable as the company has grown exponentially.

“He has become a trusted member of the company’s leadership team, often getting called upon to provide guidance and expertise to executive management,” says Chet Willis, vice president of production builder sales.

David’s territory includes 11 states in the West, and he manages seven sales representatives.

“David travels to one of his territories nearly every week and sometimes two in one week,” says Willis. “He works tirelessly in each rep’s territory, helping to make them the best they can be.”

Willis also credits David, who started with the company in August 2012, with his efforts regarding Salesforce.

“David has dedicated himself to the initiative,” Willis says, “and he works with his reps consistently to ensure they

are using Salesforce to drive the right behaviors and as a tool to help them all be better reps.”

Willis jokes that David made the right move to join the Volume Program after starting as a Custom sales rep.

“He realized that VP was where it’s at, and left the Dark Side (cue ‘Imperial March’ from ‘Star Wars’) to join us in the light of the Volume Program,” he says. “But, seriously, David is simply outstanding.”
