Heather Zorge

A lot goes into having a lucrative business: the people, the goals, the products, and, of course, the numbers. Having a top-notch person making sense of all those numbers is vital to a company’s trajectory of success.

Fortunately for Western Windows Systems, we have just the right person in place, chief financial officer Heather Zorge.

Her financial acumen is one giant reason Western Window Systems is where it is today.

Since joining the company in 2016, she has led improvements in the company’s profitability and operating cash flows. In addition, Heather has developed operational strategies that have improved the company’s infrastructure and process.

“Heather has done a phenomenal job in reshaping how we approach our decision making, reporting, analysis, legal assessments, pricing, costing, budgeting, product launches, market entry, and strategy,” says Scott Gates, WWS president. “There isn’t a part of our business that Heather hasn’t helped make better. More than that, she has built an incredible team that makes our company better every day.”

As much as we value her contributions, she’s made others outside Western Window Systems take notice as well. Earlier this year, she was recognized by the Arizona Chapter of Financial Executives International as a recipient of the 2018 CFO of the Year Awards.

Adds Gates: “If Heather can be named CFO of the year in Arizona, it makes total sense that she is our manager of the year.”

Congratulations to Heather Zorge, Western Window Systems’ manager of the year for 2018.
