Pam Sutherland

To get to the bottom of a potential pricing problem was a job that a) wouldn’t be easy, and b) would take a lot of time-consuming digging. It would require a lot of labor that would only be extra work for whoever figured out the problem.

Fortunately for Western Window Systems, that person is Pam Sutherland, the inside sales representative who led an investigation into some pricing discrepancies. Indeed, Pam found some problems with the system. The time and effort that was put into discovering what had happened and why it happened was significant and went above and beyond the call of duty.

“It was a shining example of our willingness to be great partners to our dealers, and it clearly demonstrates Pam’s desire to provide superior customer service,” says her nominating manager.

Pam also stepped up recently when challenges arose regarding the ADA compliance of a new Toll Brothers clubhouse project that featured some Western Window Systems products. She was instrumental in working with the sales team, the service department, the CAD department, and some team members on the manufacturing floors to solve the issue.

“Pam worked tirelessly to bring all the information together after three intense rounds of revisions,” the manager says. “Quotes were then prepared and the project ultimately was awarded to the dealer and ordered just before the Christmas break.”

And then there was the time Pam, who started with the company in March 2014, pushed hard to help a new dealer on the East Coast get through some hybrid Volume Program door quotes.

“Her support and willingness to go the extra mile resulted in the new dealer bringing on a new builder, which ultimately resulted in the dealer being awarded a new project,” says the manager.

On top of all that, she’s pretty darn good at shooting pool and playing cornhole!

Congratulations to Pam Sutherland, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for January.
