Erin Feiles
As a data warehouse and business intelligence developer in the IT department, Erin Feiles analyzes data and processes to see where there is room for innovation – and she consistently delivers, says IT director America Silva.
“Erin is constantly looking for ways to improve her work, which in turn helps our customers,” Silva says. “When presented with a problem, she researches in depth to understand the ‘why’ behind things, what is causing the issue, and if there is a way to make existing processes better.”
Feiles often wears T-shirts depicting superheroes and sci-fi characters at the office, and her approach to work is just as adventurous. Silva describes Feiles’ mindset as “future-oriented.” That’s one thing that has made her a VIP in IT since she started at Western Window Systems in November 2018.
“She understands the impact of her work,” Silva says. “She comes up with new ideas and follows through until they are implemented successfully.”
When dealers had questions about the software they use to place orders, Feiles analyzed data from the program, asked questions, and got answers in order to provide more information.
“I cannot tell you how many times she has helped our team,” Silva says, “by providing data, improving processes, and by researching problems.”

I don’t really watch sports or play them, but I only really watch football if I ever watch a sport.

Gaming — video, virtual reality (VR), Dungeons & Dragons (D&D); learning beadwork; getting into paramotoring

Scotland
If money were no object, what would you do all day?
Make an animal rescue place and play with them all

It’s a tie:Labyrinth and Princess Bride. Can’t say. Star Wars – it’s a given.
What is your biggest success up until now?
The life I have recently built for myself. I am now seeing the fruits of all my labors.
