Jennifer Lopez

A mistake repeated over and over, going unnoticed for years. It wasn’t until Jennifer Lopez, senior cost analyst at Western Window System, started asking questions and mining for answers that the error was uncovered and rectified.

“Through her continued detailed digging of our inventory accounts, Jenny has fixed too many errors to count,” says chief finance officer Heather Zorge.

Lopez, who started at Western Window Systems in July 2016, also developed the finance department’s first-ever departmental budget model, and she did it with limited direction.

“She never shied away from the challenge, despite the task being a little outside of her job description,” Zorge says.

It’s part of Lopez’s commitment to Western Window Systems’ core value of innovation that led to her success in creating the budget model. Not only that, she took on developing a process to update and maintain the company’s monthly executive management metric process.

As far as partnership, Lopez embraces collaboration to excel on the job.

“Jenny has been able to seamlessly integrate herself into the team,” Zorge says. “She works with almost every department to solve problems, analyze results, and develop new reporting tools to ensure we can account for our inventory and increase transparency.”

In addition to her already-heavy workload, Lopez is not afraid to take on extra duties, especially when the department is short-handed.

“She will help whomever needs it whenever,” Zorge says. “She is exceptional!”

Congratulations to Jennifer Lopez, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for November.
