Dave Schappert

Getting a job done with excellence means asking the right questions. Understanding what questions to ask comes with experience. For Dave Schappert, that know-how started over two decades ago.

Schappert began his career with Western Window Systems in 1994. Starting in the receiving department of the shop, he moved to managing the production control office for several years until 2005, when he transitioned into his current role of estimator and sales representative for Nevada.

“He’s helped to establish the northern California territory and trained new sales reps,” says De Anne Hayhurst, inside sales manager. “Dave is a great mentor to inside sales.”

Among his achievements, Schappert was instrumental during the company’s transition to CustomView, the online quoting system, where he worked with team members to ensure a smooth transition for the estimating needs of the sales department. And his former roles have made him invaluable when it comes to product knowledge and customer service.

“One of the things that makes Dave an outstanding member of our team is his relationship with Custom Home Window & Door,” says Hayhurst. “With his knowledge, he’s helped them succeed as a Western Window Systems dealer.”

Congratulations to Dave Schappert, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for December.
