Mike Seckler

Few would argue that in business, the importance of a top-notch accounting team can’t be over-emphasized. Essential to a company’s stability and growth, this team assists with corporate strategy, provides advice, and helps to mitigate risk.

At Western Window Systems, controller Mike Seckler stands out as one of its accounting department’s star players. And it’s his combination of professionalism, knowledge, and amiability that have people like human resources director Rob Robichaud talking.

“Mike works in an area where quality and details are required at every turn,” says Robichaud. “Something as simple as a misplaced decimal point could set off a chain of unfortunate events.”

Robichaud cites Western Window Systems’ new benefit plan as an area where Seckler, who started his career with the company in 2013, truly shined. Instrumental in the months of preparation leading up to the program’s launch, Seckler stayed focused on the details, made recommendations for process improvements, and ensured accuracy at each stage.

“I have the pleasure of interacting with Mike several times a week to make sure everything we do helps keep the Western Window Systems engine running at full speed,” says Robichaud. “He makes it easy for me to want to work with an accountant – and that’s not an easy feat.”

Congratulations to Mike Seckler, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for June.
