[Phoenix] – March 10, 2016 – Western Window Systems today announced that Scott Gates, the company’s president and CEO, has been selected by Professional Builder magazine as one of the nation’s top building industry leaders under the age of 40.
Nominations for the magazine’s annual list totaled more than 150 this year, illustrating the depth of talent among the collection of future and present industry leaders. A panel of Professional Builder editors selected the winners based on both personal and professional accomplishments.
“It’s an honor to be part of this elite group of successful industry leaders,” says Gates. “Our continued growth and success is a direct result of an amazing team that strives every day to change construction and better serve our partners.”
Prior to beginning his role as president and CEO in August 2015, Gates served as the company’s president and chief operating officer following assignments as vice president and general manager and marketing director. He played a key role in growing the window and door manufacturer’s sales over 800% during a five-year period.
“These young leaders are as dedicated to serving their communities as they are to growing their businesses,” says Professional Builder editorial director Denise Dersin, “and have remarkable achievements in their personal lives as well.”
