[PHOENIX] – February 3, 2016 – Western Window Systems today announced its participation in Sunset magazine’s 2016 Idea House, the annual series that showcases innovations in Western home design, in the Berkeley Hills neighborhood of Berkeley, CA.

Berkeley-based architect Robert Nebolon Architects, who was named 2015’s “HGTV Fresh Face of Design,” will design the house. The project also includes builder Landmark Development Corporation and Lauren Geremia, recognized by Forbes “30 Under 30” and as Architectural Digest’s “Ones to Watch,” of Geremia Design.

Referred to in a Sunset press release as “the ultimate California hills residence that embodies the indoor-outdoor lifestyle,” the 4,000-square-foot four-bedroom, four-bathroom home will include five decks overlooking the San Francisco Bay.

“We’re thrilled to be part of this project,” says Andrew Darr, Western Window Systems’ vice president of custom sales. “Our products are designed for indoor-outdoor living and will fit perfectly with the sophisticated and easygoing lifestyle of the East Bay.”

The 2016 Idea House will be featured in the November 2016 issue of Sunset magazine and will open to the public for six weeks August 5 – September 11. The home is located at 540 Gravatt Dr. in the hills’ Claremont enclave of Berkeley.
