Larry Huerta

Working in manufacturing is similar to a roller coaster ride: there are plenty of ups and downs. What matters is how you choose to respond. In the case of Larry Huerta, it’s with a great attitude.

“He’s willing to take on any challenge,” says Josh Stegall, multi-slide and patio door department manager. “When we told him capacity was doubling he replied, ‘Let’s do it.’”

Huerta’s can-do approach has resulted in increased performance, confidence, and additional responsibility on the shop floor. Currently, he heads up two departments: Volume Program panels and custom panels. He arrives on time each day, looks at what’s expected, and motivates his team to shoot for better.

“Larry’s always looking for ways to improve our processes and help his team grow,” says production manager Chris Allgood. “He’s made his team one of the best departments in manufacturing when it comes to hitting its numbers.”

Congratulations to Larry Huerta, Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month for April.
