Antonio De Alba

Nothing makes a manager happier than a team member who finds ways to cut costs when it comes to production.

So, receiving lead Antonio De Alba’s managers must be pretty ecstatic.

Here are his managers, Danny Bach and Steve Center, to explain: “Antonio has been working a cost-savings project that has been saving the paint cost for custom white and h-tone jobs. He has been utilizing leftover material from previously completed jobs to save Western Window Systems all the paint setup, minimum charges, and expedite fees.”

Bach and Center also laud Antonio’s attendance record and his professionalism.

“With any task Antonio takes on, his mindset is to make sure it is completed only to highest standards, never settling for anything less,” they report. “And his attendance is far beyond excellent. We have never seen this guy be late, miss a day, or leave early. The only time you will not see him busting his ass is when he takes his yearly vacation.”

Regarding the company’s core value of partnership, Antonio, who started with Western Window Systems in December 2001, has great relationships with both external partners and his co-workers, to whom he is always willing to lend a helping hand, be it finding metal, cleaning the docks, or sorting scrap metal.

“We have trucking come in two or three times a week at very early times in the morning,” Bach and Center say. “Antonio will show up three hours before his shift so the driver can get back on the road as quickly as possible.”

Congratulations to Antonio De Alba, Western Window Systems’ day shop employee of the month for August.
