Adolfo Nuñez

When it comes to shipping Western Window Systems products, communication is vital. Thankfully, the company’s shipping department has Adolfo Nuñez, a master communicator, in its corner.

“One of my huge issues with shipping was communication, and since he started in shipping,” says Johnny Muruato of the inside sales department. “He and I have been tackling hard situations and making sure product is being shipped to our dealers.”

In his employee-of-the-month nominating form, Muruato used the word “communicate” several times when talking about Adolfo, who started with the company in June 2015 and won an employee of the month in July 2017 as a member of the windows team.

Take his example regarding the company’s core value of innovation: “A good example of how well Adolfo communicates is, we had a situation where we were short drivers, and two of my dealers had big orders that were job site delivery. Long story short: He communicated to me every day what was going on with the shipments. He was on top of the situation and gave me vital information to give to the dealer so that the dealer would understand what was going on.”

If a situation with shipping to a dealer arises, Adolfo always has a detailed reason for the issue.

“I have never gotten any attitude from him or had the sense that he didn’t care,” says Muruato. “And our dealers ultimately respect and understand the truth.”

Congratulations to Adolfo Nuñez, Western Window Systems’ day shift shop employee of the month for January.
