Victor Castro Montoya

Ask any manager. What they’re always looking for is that one person on the floor who can truly be called a “go-to guy.”

On the Series 670 team, few people fit that description better than Victor Castro Montoya, a man his manager, Jose “Fluffy” Ordoñez, says comes to work on time every day “ready to kick ass.”

Kicking ass for Victor, who started with the company in May 2016, means meticulous performance on the 670 line and always giving more than 100 percent no matter the role he’s undertaking or the day of the week.

“He takes pride in his work and takes any change that comes his way and perfects it,” says Ordoñez, who lauds Victor for taking on a role on the new shop’s CNC machines.

“Even it if means he has to run back and forth from the process line to the hardware table,” Ordoñez says.

Beyond the nuts and bolts of the job, Victor excels at the Partnership core value of Western Window Systems by showing respect to others and always being ready to assist others.

“He always gives a helping hand at work and out of work, too,” says Ordoñez. “For example, Victor goes out of his way to give people rides home from work, even if it’s far away from his own home.”

Sounds like the perfect kind of “go-to guy” that Western Window Systems needs manning the shop floor.

Congratulations to Victor Castro Montoya, Western Window Systems’ day shop employee of the month for May.
