Cipriano Velarde

As first-shift lead of the Series 670 windows team at Western Window Systems, Cipriano Velarde is charged with ensuring customers receive products of the highest quality correctly and on time. And according to window and screen manager Karl Price, he’s pretty much nailing it.

“Cipriano always finds a solution,” says Price. “When faced with challenging and time-consuming units, he changes the normal flow of production to get them completed¬ — along with everything else.”

On the company’s core value of partnership, Velarde, who started with the company in 2013, treats those around him with respect, integrity, and fairness.

“He works with operators and saw and glazing leaders to track progress and troubleshoot issues,” says Price. “He ensures the production of units does not stop.”

Congratulations to Cipriano Velarde, Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month for July.
