Jose Ordonez

Sometimes we’re so busy at work that the last thing we want is more responsibility. Not so for Jose “Fluffy” Ordonez. Since he started at the company in 2014, Ordonez, who works on the screen team, enjoys taking on additional challenges whenever he can.

“He can handle his own work while training people in another department,” says Karl Price, window and screen department manager for Western Window Systems. “He also helps other teams troubleshoot issues.”

At one point, Ordonez was challenged with making improvements to a department in a short period of time. He succeeded by finding new ways to produce product at a faster rate. And he did it without putting product quality at risk.

“Fluffy’s created a flow in his department that didn’t exist prior to his leadership role,” says Price. “He’s earned the extra responsibility.”
