Mark Henry

When something breaks in the middle of the night, maintenance guru Mark Henry is there to keep the machines humming. “When there is an issue with machinery, an air line or anything, we all breathe a sigh of relief when Mark is here,” says Mike “Hollywood” Flores, night production manager. “We know no matter what is going on, Mark will do everything he can to fix the issue.”

Being on the night shift presents some unique challenges that require outside-the-box solutions. “Mark is in a position where he has to be innovative,” Hollywood says. “When something breaks down at midnight, he has to find a way to fix the issue with what he has. He can’t just run to the store and buy a part.”

In addition to displaying the company’s core values of excellence and innovation, Mark particularly exemplifies our value of partnership. “He is constantly helping the entire shop,” Hollywood says. “He will help find glass and bring it into the shop. He will run the side loader to help get metal. He will do it all with a smile and a laugh. He exemplifies what Western is as a company.”

Congratulations, Mark Henry, on being Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month on night shift for April!
