Sebastian Fuson

One surefire way to make yourself indispensible at Western Window Systems is to broaden your skill set. And that’s just what Sebastian Fuson has done.

The lead on the night shift’s frames team is one of those people who can do a lot of things and do them well, someone who can fill in just about anywhere on the shop floor.

“Prior to being a lead, this guy stepped into any role necessary,” says frames manager Jason Wengert. “He would cut at the saw, build, and lead the team – sometimes all at the same time.”

Sebastian, who started with the company in June 2015, also is the kind of person who is always looking to improve, both himself and the company.

“In order to improve averages and value to the team, a person needs to be willing to take on new challenges,” Wengert says. “Sebastian is one to strategize ways to improve or bounce ideas off management to improve flow in the department.”

And when the going gets tough, Sebastian keeps his cool, which is an important quality in a leader.

“Sebastian, no matter how difficult the constraints, understands to push forward and lose focus or temperament,” says Wengert. “And he strives to keep others on a positive path.”

Congratulations to Sebastian Fuson, Western Window Systems’ night shift shop employee of the month for May.
