Mark Henry

Keeping a shop as big as Western Window Systems’ running in tip-top shape is no easy task. With all its moving parts, there’s room for a lot to go wrong.

Fortunately, employees like maintenance technician Mark Henry prove themselves invaluable time and time again for their ability to troubleshoot and fix any problems that may arise.

“When Mark is given a maintenance request, he is willing to tackle the job and complete it quickly and correctly,” says manufacturing engineer Joshua Katz.

Take, for example, when the shop’s hydraulic pump needed Mark’s magic touch. He wired it up perfectly, and he did it more quickly than anyone had done previously, Katz says, who also credits Mark with getting innovative when it came to wiring the company’s new strut machine.

Mark, who started with the company in June of this year, also is more than happy to teach someone what he knows, and he exhibits great patience when doing so.

“An example of that is when he assisted with the wiring for the testing department,” Katz says. “Mark attended meetings and did the hand calculations necessary to show the load requirements for the blower motors.”

Beyond his expertise, Mark is simply a great guy to have on the team.

“You can see partnership with Mark every day,” Katz says. “When he comes into work, Mark is usually in a great mood and greets almost everyone while walking into the office.”

Congratulations to Mark Henry, Western Window Systems’ night shop employee of the month for November.
