Arran Williams

When a void in leadership exists, management tends to take special note of who steps up to fill it.

On the night shift’s multi-slide panels team, that person was Arran Williams.

“Arran took on more responsibility when we had no acting lead,” says sliding door panel manager Daniel Thompson. “He took the situation as an opportunity to advance his knowledge and help others.”

It’s why management doesn’t mind throwing tougher work toward Arran, who started at Western Window Systems in June 2017.

“When tasked with a new or demanding challenge, Arran never complains and gets it done with excellent results, even under pressure,” Thompson says. “When more is asked of him, due to increased workload, he happily rises to the occasion.”

And when Arran learns something new, he doesn’t hesitate to share, making him a true team player.

“He is excited to teach the little tricks to help co-workers reach goals and strengthen the team,” says Thompson. “When Arran reaches his personal goal for the night, he takes it upon himself to help others in any way he can to reach the production needs.”

Finally, Thompson credits Arran with playing a huge role in making the night shift crew as successful as it is.

“The panel department, night shift, and myself wouldn’t be as awesome without Arran’s help assisting the team, training, and motivating with his positive attitude.”

Congratulations to Arran Williams, Western Window Systems’ night shop employee of the month for September.
