Adnan Bevrnja

Broadcasting industry executive Donald McGannon said, “Leadership is an action, not a position.” Adnan Bevrnja of Western Window Systems’ shipping team practices this insight regularly. By inspiring and motivating others to achieve a shared vision, he takes responsibility and sets an example of excellence.

“He comes in every day with the drive to do nothing short of the best for the shipping department,” says production manager Chris Allgood. “He sets up the trucks, gets the tools and paperwork ready for the guys on the floor. He’ll do what’s necessary to get the job done on time — including putting on gloves and helping to rearrange trailers and containers.”

Since starting with the company in February, Bevrnja has implemented new communication procedures that have increased accuracy for his department. In addition, he calculated weight on the axels for trailers that were overweight. This ensured that product was distributed correctly and backorders prevented.

On the core value of partnership, Bevrnja is always ready to lend a hand.

“He coaches those around him to be better,” says Allgood. “And he’s strengthened relationships between our carriers and inside sales to make the customer experience even better.”

Congratulations to Adnan Bevrnja, Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month for September.
