Felipe “Eddie” Ballesteno
As the highest-ranked employee on Western Window Systems’ manufacturing skills matrix, a tool that shows the proficiencies held by individuals on a team, Felipe “Eddie” Ballesteno, knows a little something about learning new things, adaptability, and the confidence that comes with being skilled at different types of work.
“Eddie’s not only the highest ranked employee on the matrix, he’s several points ahead of the next person on the list,” says Scott Gates, president and CEO of Western Window Systems.
Ballesteno started his career with Western Window Systems over 25 years ago, in 1989. Currently on the custom window team, he never stops working, his coworkers say. Focused on excellence, Ballesteno can be found taking care of the details, assisting and coaching other team members, and making sure he’s having fun, no matter what comes his way.
“I’m not sure anyone will be surprised by Eddie being named as our shop employee of the year,” says Scott Gates, president and CEO of Western Window Systems. “He’s more than deserving of this award and I’m proud to have him on the team.”
Congratulations to Eddie Ballesteno, Western Window Systems’ 2015 shop employee of the year.
