In November, Western Window Systems employees delivered mountains of soccer balls, board games, stuffed animals, and other toys to Harvest Compassion Center’s Christmas Toy Drive. Designed to provide families in need in Phoenix and Maryvale, Arizona, with gifts for the holidays, the event saw a record haul of donations from Western Window Systems employees, including almost double the amount of monetary contributions made in 2018.

Production communications manager Chris Allgood, who has spearheaded the holiday drive for the past 11 years, said he didn’t have enough room in his truck for all the gifts and had to make multiple drop-offs to the center.

“Western employees are awesome. The response to this year’s toy drive was amazing,” Allgood says. “Now the families Harvest Compassion Center is helping can put the gifts under the tree before Christmas. Giving is winning.”
