As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to unfold and present challenges, employees at Western Window Systems are doing things to lift each other up and help the surrounding community. Here are a few recent examples:

  • Donations to ICM Food and Clothing Bank and St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix to provide meals and hygiene items for families in need as well as cleaning supplies, gloves, and masks for volunteers.
  • To help sustain local businesses during the Arizona governor’s stay-at-home order, Western Window Systems purchased nearly $500 in gift cards from local businesses.
  • To assist employees in need of paper products, Western Window Systems procured and distributed more than 250 rolls of toilet paper, 200 rolls and flat packs of paper towels, 48 boxes of tissues, and 24 packs of baby wipes.
  • Over 70 “Thank You” notes, sent from office staff and arranged into heart shapes across break room lockers, were sent to shop employees in gratitude for staying safe and helping to keep the business running.

“It’s up to all businesses to do things that will better our employees, help our customers, and serve the community at large until this difficult time passes,” says Mike Wothe, president of Western Window Systems. “We will only get through this together.”
