Insulating Glass
Western Window Systems products feature low-E, argon-filled, dual-pane glass, which blocks heat loss to the outside while reflecting heat back into a room. This helps to reduce heating and cooling costs. Glass can be customized in a variety of types, colors, and thicknesses to meet the performance challenges of various climates.
Cardinal Glass
Western Window Systems’ Series 7000 family of performance-based door systems and windows come standard with all-climate coated or high-performance glass from Cardinal Glass Industries. Customized glass options include laminated glass, solar- and glare-control glass, enhanced winter performance glass, and Neat low-maintenance glass. Pre-applied Cardinal Preserve film protects glass through installation.
To receive ENERGY STAR certification, a product must meet a set of energy performance levels determined by the U.S. government. ENERGY STAR criteria varies in different areas of the country.
